Caught in the Act with My Childhood Toy Collection

I've got this thing where I still keep my childhood toy collection. You know, all those action figures and plushies that have been collecting dust for decades now? Well, a couple of weeks ago, some friends came over unannounced, and I was in the middle of reliving my glory days with a nostalgic game night. Before I could even hide them or clean up, they walked right into the room where I had it all set up like an elaborate museum display. Can you imagine the look on their faces? One friend actually burst out laughing and said something about me being stuck in my childhood ways. The other just looked at me with that 'what are we supposed to say' face, but they both ended up joining in for a few games anyway. I felt pretty silly, let's be honest, but it was also kind of fun seeing them laugh along too. It made me realize how much joy these old toys can still bring, even if only for a moment.
