My Little Secret Obsession With Cats and Knitting

I know I shouldn't admit it, but ever since I retired a few years back, I've developed quite the obsession with cats and knitting. It started innocently enough; my neighbor's cat would visit, and suddenly I was buying more cat toys than I could count. Then came the yarn - oh, so much pretty yarn! Before long, I had stacks of kitty-themed sweaters and scarves that no one would ever wear except for maybe a few holiday gifts. The real confession is that when my grandkids come to visit, I often hide their presents under the cat toys until they're about to leave again. It's silly, but there's something so comforting in knowing that my little corner of the world can be filled with soft purring and fluffy scarves.
