When I Gave My Little Brother's Doll to Charity Without Asking Mom...

So my little brother got this super cute doll for his birthday last year. It was pink and fluffy, with big eyes and everything. At first, he loved it. But then, like three days in, he kinda lost interest. Now, I know what you're thinking: why would anyone give away a child's toy without checking? Yeah, well, my mom can be pretty strict about stuff like that. She'll lecture for hours if she thinks we made a bad decision. So... I waited until she was at work one day and just packed it up with the other clothes and toys we were donating to charity. It felt kind of wrong, but also like what big brothers should do sometimes. Now he hasn't noticed yet, but what if he does? Am I a total jerk or am I helping him out by clearing his room for him...?
