Middle Sibling Blues

Being the middle child can feel like walking a tightrope between two strong gravitational pulls. My little sister idolizes my big brother for being so cool and adventurous, and she looks up to him more than me. It's not that I'm jealous; it’s just sometimes it feels like everyone else has their roles figured out except me. What do you all think? Do middle kids ever find their unique spot without comparing themselves to the older or younger siblings?
