I'm So Tired of Being Mommy and Daddy Too

Okay, I'll admit it. I've been secretly enjoying some alone time on my phone while the kids are watching TV. They love shows like Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol, adorable little cartoons that keep them giggling for hours. But man, after a few minutes of blissful silence, I find myself sneaking into social media or streaming a funny YouTube video. It's not exactly productive, but it feels like the only momentary escape from being 'on' all day long. And hey, if they're happy and safe with their shows, who am I to stop them? Call me selfish, call me lazy, but isn't every parent out there secretly doing this too? Maybe we can form a club or something.
