I Didn't Tell The Truth About My Report Card
Anonymous Scandalous Flirt #942 · General
So you know how parents always ask if there's anything new or interesting from school? Well, the thing is, I have this one class where it feels like no matter what I do, I just can't get better. And so when my mom asked me about my report card yesterday, and she was all excited to hear how well I did in everything... I kind of fibbed a bit. You know? Like I said I had gotten an A- instead of the C+ that's actually on there. Now, normally I wouldn't do something like this because it's just not fair to my mom or myself, but I guess I felt so bad about how I did in that class, and it's always the same subject, I don't know why I struggle with it so much. Maybe next time I'll be honest, but for now, I'm feeling kind of guilty but also a bit relieved because it might make my mom worry less. Of course, this isn't something to brag about; in fact, it's more like admitting how sometimes even when you're trying your hardest, things don't go as planned. And I feel bad because my older sister always seems so confident and good at everything, while I'm here worrying about one lousy grade on my report card.
