I Spilled Coffee On My Boss's Daughter

So here’s this: I was working my usual shift when a customer walked in with her kid. It turned out to be the boss’s daughter and her little one. She asked for something complicated, and naturally, I got flustered trying to remember all the options. The coffee machine made an awful gurgling sound just as I was pouring, and before I knew it, I had spilled a big mug of hot java right on the girl's shirt. She jumped back, screeching like she’d been burned (which she probably would have if I hadn’t gotten cold water for her). I felt so guilty; now every time I see the boss or his daughter, I expect to be fired.
