Forgot to Buy Milk Again

Well, I guess honesty is not always the best policy. Yesterday morning, I told my daughter over the phone that I ran out of milk because it had gone bad and I was too late for the grocery store. What I didn't mention was that I forgot about buying milk entirely. It's not like it’s a big deal, but I felt kinda silly lying about something so small. Now every time she comes to visit, the first thing she does is check if there’s still no milk in the fridge. Oh well, at least my tea tasted better with water.
