My Art Obsession Is No Secret ...

Hey there everyone! So I've been an artist my whole life, and let's just say it, my house is a bit of a mess because of it. Every spare corner, every nook and cranny... they're all filled with art supplies, canvases half-finished, sculptures in progress, you name it. I love the smell of paint and the sound of a brush hitting canvas... It's my happy place, really. But here's the thing: I don't always get to indulge this passion as much as I'd like. My parents keep telling me I need more structure in my life, maybe even take on a part-time job instead of spending all that time creating art. They worry it won't pay off... But honestly, how can anything else compete with the rush I get from sculpting clay or painting a sunset? So here's my question: Am I just being selfish? Should I be trying harder to find balance between my passion and adult responsibilities? Or is this okay, as long as it keeps me happy and fulfilled...?
