My Teens Are Officially Geniuses Or Something?

So like, I was just catching up on some of those puzzles or challenges floating around online and man, they're hard. And then yesterday, my kid comes home from school all excited because they solved one in about ten minutes flat that stumped me for days! Can you believe it? They said it's something called 'Math Olympiad' stuff but honestly I barely remember half the math I learned back when I was their age. How do kids today learn this much so fast? Maybe I should sign them up for more of these contests just to keep my mind sharp, or is that too weird? And here I am, feeling a bit outdated and wondering if I'm not smart enough anymore. Oh well, at least they're doing great stuff, right? And speaking of brainy things, remember that science fair project on solar energy last year? Well guess what, they won first prize again! Maybe it's time for me to take up building model rockets or something because honestly, I'm not sure what else a parent can do to keep up. But hey, proud as punch and super excited for them! Now if only I could remember how to solve those math problems as quickly...
