Forgot to Bring My Art Supplies to School Again

So I know this sounds like such a rookie mistake, but seriously, how does one forget their art supplies AGAIN? It’s not like I’m new at this, I’ve forgotten them every Monday for the past month. And here I am, feeling like an absolute idiot sitting in class trying to sketch with my pencils and erasers while everyone else is using watercolors and markers. My teacher gave me this look like she thinks I can’t handle my own stuff. Like, really? Do you not know that if I bring my supplies, they will end up getting left behind at home anyway because my mom or someone will remind me to do laundry when I’m rushing out the door? Sometimes I feel like maybe art isn’t for me after all. But then again, why else would I have signed up for this class in the first place if I didn’t actually want it... Oh wait, that’s right, I love it too much to give up now! So here I am, planning to sneak out at lunch to grab my supplies from home and feeling like such a failure. But hey, maybe next week I’ll remember everything, probably not, but you never know.
