Working From Home Blues

I work as a freelance graphic designer from my home office. Today I realized that my cat has knocked over half of the plants in the room and dirt is everywhere, yet all I can think about is finishing this last design before checking emails again. It’s bizarre how I can’t seem to focus on cleaning up the mess while deadlines loom large. Is this normal? Am I just being lazy or should I stop working until everything is clean?
