new city vibes

i just moved to a new city and omg it feels so big and overwhelming but also super exciting like i could meet anyone anywhere at any time! everyone seems so interesting here and there are so many cool places i want to check out. is this normal to feel such a mix of scared and pumped? how do you all make friends in a brand new place?
