New Kid in Town Lie

So I just moved to this awesome new city and started at a new school. On the first day, I was nervous about not knowing anyone or where things were, so when someone asked if I had been here before, I said yes because it seemed easier than explaining how lost I felt. Now everyone keeps asking me for directions, which is hilarious to watch but also kinda embarrassing since I'm still clueless! Not my best move, but hey, small lie for big relief.
