When I Sabotaged My Sibling's Graduation Cap Project

So here's the deal. My sister is one year ahead of me at school and she’s this big nerd who’s obsessed with her graduation project, which is making these custom caps for everyone in our graduating class. She’s been talking about it nonstop for months, but here's the thing: I think she’s overdoing it. Like, no one wants to wear a cap that looks like it came straight out of a 90s movie set, right? Plus, her project is all about how important school traditions are, and honestly, everyone just cares about the party afterward. Now, my sister was super excited because she got this fancy software package for designing graduation caps. She spent hours every night in front of the computer, tweaking designs and showing them to anyone who’d listen. Meanwhile, I started noticing that there were a bunch of glitches in the software, it kept freezing up and crashing at certain times. I did some digging on the internet and found out that you can actually insert malicious code into files through email attachments or downloads from dodgy websites. So here’s what I did: while my sister wasn’t looking, I downloaded a fake update file onto her computer. It was supposed to install some malware but it just messed up the software so badly that she couldn't even open it anymore. The next day, all her work on designing the caps vanished into thin air. She nearly had a breakdown! I felt bad for a moment, but then remembered how much this project has been bugging me. So yeah, I kind of messed with my sister’s graduation cap software and now she's scrambling to figure out what happened. Now that her deadline is coming up, she’s stressed beyond belief and keeps asking around for help, while I sit here laughing inside because no one knows about the sabotage but me.
