When My Cat Bosses Me Around

You know how cats are these little furry creatures that everyone thinks are just adorable and cute all the time? Well, my cat Fluffy is a lot more than that. She's like this tiny, four-legged dictator who calls all the shots in our household. I mean, sure, she lets me feed her, but that doesn't give me any right to boss her around or anything. And don't get me started on those eyes of hers when she wants something, those are the sharpest blades you could ever imagine. I tried telling myself it was all in my head, but there's no denying it anymore: Fluffy runs this show. Like today, I had to go out for groceries and leave her alone for a while. She didn't like that idea at all. She started meowing non-stop, as if saying, 'Hey! Where do you think you're going? You can’t just walk away from your responsibilities!' I felt so guilty leaving her that I ended up making it quick, rushing back home in less than half an hour because of this little dictator with a tail. It’s not like I have any intention of rebelling against Fluffy's rule either. I kind of enjoy being under the thumb of someone who treats me more like a servant than a companion. Plus, she has great taste in food, I don't think I could ever survive on just kibble like some people do. So here’s my question: Am I crazy for feeling like my cat is running the show? Or does everyone have this relationship with their pets and are too embarrassed to admit it?
