Forgot to Mention the Internship Thing

So, I start this new job and everyone's so nice, but kind of awkward because I just moved here. Anyways, on my first day, the boss was like, 'Hey, tell us a little about yourself.' And I'm thinking, 'Uh-oh, should I mention that I got this gig through an internship last year?' See, it wasn't exactly the most impressive program. They were supposed to teach us how to code and all that, but instead we mostly played video games together... and maybe watched some cat videos on YouTube too. And there was this one time we had a pizza party in place of a coding workshop. So I didn't really learn much except how to use Slack for gossiping and making memes. But you know what they say: fake it till you make it, right? So I'm like, 'Well, I studied a lot about tech in college,' which is sort of true because I did take some classes, but not nearly as many as the other guys here seem to have done. And everyone nodded and smiled and seemed impressed. It's probably okay to keep this little white lie going for a while, right? Maybe by the time they figure it out, I'll actually know something about tech... or at least how to make friends with them better. Yeah, so yeah, that's my confession for today.
