My Work-from-Home Habit

I've been working from home as a freelance graphic designer for about two years now. Every day, I have this strange routine where I start my workday with a coffee and then spend the first hour just organizing my desk. It's not like it's messy; everything is usually in order. But there’s something oddly satisfying about making sure every pen is aligned and that each paperclip is perfectly positioned before I even open Photoshop or send an email. My clients often joke about my perfectionist tendencies, but honestly, this ritual feels almost therapeutic to me. It helps me settle into the day. I've tried breaking this habit a few times, starting work without organizing everything first, but it never feels right. Is anyone else out there like this? Do you have strange pre-work habits too? Am I just weird for needing my workspace to be absolutely perfect before getting down to business?
