Stuck on Him in Seminar

I’ve been sitting next to Alex in my grad seminar for months now, and I can’t stop thinking about how he subtly leans toward me whenever we discuss our research projects. It’s not like I’m just attracted to his intelligence, it’s everything from the way he chews thoughtfully while reading to that small dimple when he smiles. Yet every time I want to talk more, my heart races and I stutter over words. Is this what it feels like to have a crush? So immature after all these years.
