New in Town and Feeling Lost

I just moved to a big city where everyone seems so confident and busy. I feel like an outsider looking in on their perfect lives from the window of my lonely apartment. The coffee shop down the street looks cozy and filled with life, but when I try to walk in, I get butterflies. Do other newbies out there feel this way too? Is it normal to be so intimidated by the people bustling around me?
