I Broke My Boss's Coffee Machine

Got a new boss this year, big on efficiency and all that. I knew he hated the old coffee machine, said it was outdated. Well, one morning, I spilled coffee everywhere in the kitchen because I tried to be sneaky with how much milk I put in my cup. Couldn't face telling him it was an accident, so I pretended nothing happened. Days went by, and I saw him checking the machines every day, wondering if anyone would fix them or replace them soon. Then one day, a big delivery showed up - new coffee maker for the whole office! I felt this mix of relief and guilt all day long. I never told anyone what happened that morning. Even thinking about it now, I still feel like it was worth breaking an old machine to get something better in its place. Can't change how things turned out anyway.
