i told my boss i was busy

ok so this is weird to admit but yesterday at work i literally just made up a reason to get out of doing the task that everyone hates, it was like a reflex honestly. i told my boss that i had some other thing going on and i know i should have said no straight up but it felt better than saying how much i hate this one thing. now im thinking about it too hard because its not like there are consequences or anything just feels kinda petty rn
