I'm Still Not Sure If It Was Worth It

Hey everyone, it's me, the middle sibling. So I've been kind of sneaking some snacks from my little sister's stash lately. You know how she has this big jar full of those chocolate chip cookies? Well, one day I was feeling really hungry and thought, 'What harm could there be in just one?' Before you know it, three cookies were gone. And then another night when everyone else was asleep, a whole handful disappeared into my belly. I keep catching myself checking on her jar to see if the supply is dwindling too much. My little sister's gonna lose trust in me big time if she ever finds out, but these cookies are just so delicious and comforting. Part of me still wants to stop and make it right, while another part feels justified and doesn't think I should have to go without just because my siblings aren't snacking as much.
