I Shouldn't Say This but It's True

Okay, so I feel really bad even admitting this to myself let alone anyone else. You know when you're just trying to make dinner for the family and it turns into a full-blown disaster? Well, last week it was like that every day. There were burnt toast crumbs in the carpet and spilled milk stains on the rug... And don't get me started on how I accidentally left my toddler's snacks out overnight and woke up to a bunch of ants marching across our dining table! It wasn't exactly a glamorous moment as a stay-at-home parent, huh? But you know what was even worse? This one time when I got so stressed trying to juggle nap times with school work that I forgot to feed the dog for almost half a day. Poor thing barked my ear off in protest by the evening. And yes, I did try making up for it by giving her three extra treats but I think she just wanted her regular meals back. So yeah, maybe being a stay-at-home parent isn't as picture-perfect as people sometimes make it seem on social media, huh? At least I'm learning and trying my best.
