Forgot I Was Wearing Sunglasses Inside

So uh, the other day I was at this family gathering and my grandkids were all running around like little crazy cats. And I just wanted to take a moment for myself in the kitchen with some tea. But you know how it goes, your eyes are tired from all that chaos, right? So, I put on these sunglasses as a quick fix for some peace of mind. Fast forward an hour later, yes, an entire hour!, and here I am chatting with my sister-in-law about her new job when she suddenly looks at me like I've got something stuck in my eye. Oh boy, do you ever feel that awkward pause? Turns out, the whole time we were catching up on our lives inside the house, I was wearing these dark sunglasses like a total dork. My grandkids had probably seen me and thought it was some kind of new cool grandpa look or something. They probably think I'm trying to be suave now! But nope, just another day in the life of someone who needs their coffee before they're fully functional.
