I Kept the Extra Change

So there I was last night at work, pouring drinks like usual. This one customer left in a hurry after splitting his bill with some friends and didn't tip me. But hey, guess what? There was a couple of extra dollars under his cup, clearly meant for someone else's glass next to it. No big deal, right? I mean, they were sitting there all alone, no owner would even notice. And I sure could use the cash after my shift. So yeah, I kept them and pretended like nothing happened when he came back looking confused. Maybe a bit petty, but hey, sometimes you gotta look out for number one.
