i coded myself into a corner

so yesterday i was working on this project and i got so into it that i started adding features that were cool but totally unnecessary. my boss is going to kill me when she sees all the extra stuff, plus now the whole thing is way more complicated than it needs to be. but honestly, some of those little things are actually pretty neat... maybe if i can explain them properly she'll see the value? hope so.
