Forgot My Lab Coat in a Bar

So yeah, I was at this bar last night with some friends and just got so engrossed in conversation that when it was time to leave, I completely forgot about my lab coat. Imagine coming back to the lab after midnight, everyone's gone home, and there’s your white coat hanging on a random chair near the bar area where we had drinks earlier. The worst part? It wasn't just any old coat, I've got all these pens and tools attached to it that I need for my research. Spent an hour retracing our steps trying to remember which bartender might have held onto it while they cleaned up. Thankfully, one of them recognized me from a couple of weeks ago when I came in early to grab coffee before class. Could've been worse though, I could've forgotten my laptop instead.
