I Broke My Mom's Favorite Plate by Accident

Yesterday, I accidentally dropped and broke my mom’s favorite plate while trying to pack some leftovers. She’s been reminding me for weeks how she loves that plate, so it feels extra bad. I’ve been telling myself all day that maybe no one noticed, but deep down, I know they did. It’s such a stupid thing to feel guilty about because honestly, accidents happen. But every time someone uses the kitchen now, I can’t help but think of her disappointment when she finds out. How am I going to tell her? She’ll probably be upset, and it could have been avoided if I wasn't rushing around like a headless chicken.
