Forgot to Water Plants Today

I forgot to water my plants today, which feels like a small but significant oversight. I've been taking care of those plants for years now, and each one has its own unique character, the way they grow and change with the seasons is almost like watching old home movies. This morning, when I went to give them their usual splash of water, I just... couldn't find my watering can. It turns out it had been misplaced weeks ago, and all this time I've been blaming myself for being forgetful rather than addressing the actual problem. I wonder how many more times I'll need to remind myself that forgetting isn’t always about memory failure; sometimes it’s just not having everything in its proper place.
