I know I’m supposed to be all inspired and profound as an artist, but let’s be real. My biggest motivation is getting free snacks at the gallery opening. I show up early, schmooze for a bit, then make a beeline straight to the hors d’oeuvves table like a pro squirrel storing nuts.
