Forgot My Math Homework Again

So today I forgot my math homework AGAIN at home. You know that feeling when you’re in class and everyone else has their papers out, but yours is nowhere to be found? It’s like your desk suddenly turns into this huge gaping hole where all the stuff you need vanishes. And Mr. Lee just gave me the look that means “Really?” I swear my desk devours everything important before school starts. And then there was that time in gym class, we were supposed to do laps around the track and I ended up running a mile but completely forgot about it because the soccer ball was distracting me. Coach Smith seemed pretty impressed with how far I ran until she found out it wasn’t even planned, kind of wish I could have run that fast on purpose, you know? But now all my friends think I’m some sort of accidental track star and I can’t quite figure out how to explain it. Back to the homework thing though. It was really bad because Sarah was sitting next to me and she had this huge grin on her face as if to say “Look at this goofball.” And here’s the kicker, we’re supposed to be working on a group project together for math too, guess I’m in trouble there. So yeah, forgot my homework AGAIN. How embarrassing is that? Maybe next time I’ll just carry around a spare notebook or something.
