That Time I Accidentally Ordered a Year's Supply of Soap Nuts for My Cat

So here's the thing. A few weeks ago, I was browsing Amazon because I noticed my cat had been getting itchy skin recently. I came across this product called 'soap nuts,' which are these dried-out things that supposedly clean your clothes and dishes naturally without chemicals or water, kind of like a super eco-friendly cleaning solution. But the catch? You can only order them in bulk, so naturally, for one month's worth of cat soap nut treatment (because I'm meticulous and budget-conscious), I ordered an entire year's supply. I know, it sounds ridiculous. And the worst part is that they're not actually soap nuts meant for cleaning laundry, they’re a natural remedy to soothe skin irritations in cats! But hey, no one said my Google search skills were infallible at 3 AM when I'm half asleep and just want some solution for Fluffy’s itchy fur. So there I was, waking up the next day to this gigantic box with ‘Soap Nuts’ plastered all over it. Of course, my neighbors thought I had suddenly joined a bizarre cult or something. I tried to call customer service to cancel, but they were only open during business hours and by then, it was like 5 PM on a weekend (the worst time for customer service). I ended up with this enormous box that takes up half the living room. My poor cat now has an endless supply of something she never asked for. And yes, every week when we walk past the mountainous pile, Fluffy looks at me with those big eyes like 'Did you really just do this?' It's been a joke between my friends ever since. They can't stop laughing about how I got so carried away by some weird cleaning product that wasn’t even for what it was meant to be in the first place. But hey, at least Fluffy’s skin is getting better! So there you have it: a year of soap nuts and one confused cat owner.
