i got lazy at work today

so today i was working my shift as the barista and honestly, i was just not feeling it. like really, really wasn't feeling it. so instead of being all on point with the coffee orders and chats, i kinda just dropped into a zone where everything is done by rote. making cappuccinos for everyone felt like watching paint dry or something. my coworkers tried to get me hyped up but i was stuck in this weird funk. i even snuck some extra creamer into one of the lattes because why not, right? yeah, it might have been a tiny act of rebellion against my own boredom but hey, if someone else gets an extra creamy coffee outta it, who am i to say no? maybe tomorrow will be better.
