Why Did I Do That?

So okay, here's the thing. I've been really stressed lately with school and stuff, so my older sister decided we should all watch a movie together as a family night. She picked one of those cheesy comedies, you know the kind with the dad dancing scene and the mom trying to fix everything. Anyway, during the dance scene where the dad is moving his hips awkwardly but he's smiling, I couldn't help myself. I looked at my sister and she was staring straight ahead at the screen, probably not even blinking, totally absorbed in the movie, which just made me feel worse for laughing out loud and making snarky comments about the dad’s moves. It wasn’t even that funny, honestly. But there I was, cracking jokes like a stand-up comedian, and my sister gave me this death glare as if to say, 'Shut up or leave.' And here's the part where it gets weird: afterwards, she actually started laughing too, but when I look back, it almost felt forced. Was I just looking for attention? Did I sabotage our movie night on purpose because of how stressed out I am with everything else? I don't know if I'll ever figure this one out.
