Defiantly Ditching My Shift

I totally called in sick the other day because I couldn't stand one more second of dealing with my boss's constant micromanaging. He acts like he owns everyone’s lives, and it was just too much to handle. The funny part is, I didn’t even feel that bad, but lying down for a day doing nothing felt totally justified. It's not like the place runs on me or anything, there are plenty of others ready to step in. And who knows? Maybe my absence will make them realize how unappreciated we all feel.
