I Didn't Actually Paint That

So here's the thing. I put this new painting up on Instagram and everyone is like 'Wow, Sarah! Your skills are insane!' But the truth is, that painting was done by a friend who wasn't as busy with shows and stuff at the moment. I asked her if she wouldn't mind signing it over to me so I could get some love on social media. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's not cool to take credit for someone else's work. But here's the deal, I think I did the right thing because now I'm getting more exposure and I can give my friend a shoutout in real life when people ask about me. Call it selfish, call it desperate for attention, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get ahead.
