OMG I Did a Daring Prank!

Hey everyone! So yesterday was like the most exciting day ever because my friends and I did this crazy prank at school. We put whoopee cushions on all our teachers' chairs in art class right before lunchtime, and it was hilarious to see their reactions. Mr. Lee even fell off his chair laughing! But then, guess what? The principal found out somehow. He called us into the office for a big lecture about how pranks aren’t cool and we could’ve gotten suspended. Now I’m wondering if we did something really wrong by playing such a harmless joke. Am I in trouble forever? Is there a way to make it up to them without getting into too much trouble? What do you guys think?
