...A Small Lie...

I told my grandson that I loved the color purple because he was excited about his new purple notebook. It's not a complete lie since I do like purple, but it's certainly not my favorite color.... I just couldn't bear to crush his enthusiasm and didn't want to spoil his fun... So now, every time we talk, I have to listen to him rattle off all the shades of purple he loves and why they're so cool. It feels silly, but it made him happy...
