Caught Red-Handed

I walked into my teenager's room last night to tell them it was bedtime and found a stash of candy under their bed. I know it’s just sugar, but the sight of so many sweets hidden away made me feel like I’d stumbled upon something naughty, even though it wasn’t anything illegal or harmful. They claimed they were saving up for a treat day next week.
