Secret Snoop Sessions

So, I have this little habit that I'm not exactly proud of. My teenagers are always talking about the latest trends and dramas on their phones, but they barely share anything with us parents anymore. So you know what I do? Every once in a while when they leave their phone out somewhere, or worse, I pretend it's an emergency call and pick up their ringing phone real quick before hanging up again, I read through some of their text messages and social media comments. It's just so tempting to peek into the world that feels like a secret society these days. But then every time, I feel really guilty afterward. What kind of parent reads their kid’s stuff without permission? Still, it’s this weird curiosity about what goes on behind my back.
