Found My Grandchild's Love Letters Under Their Pillow

Oh my, I couldn't believe what I found! While I was straightening up Emma's room this afternoon, you know how she's been so distracted lately with school and all that jazz, I stumbled upon a pile of letters tucked away under her pillow. Now, mind you, it’s not like I meant to snoop or anything, honest! I was just dusting off the lamp on her bedside table when one corner of those letters peeked out from underneath. And there they were, all crumpled up and stuffed into a little envelope that had clearly been worn from being opened again and again. Honestly, I felt like such a grumpy old person for even getting flustered over it. But you know, the butterflies in my tummy when I realized what those letters contained? I was practically bouncing on the spot! It's just so lovely to think that there are still little crushes and sweet notes being exchanged by teenagers these days, isn’t it? I mean, if anyone had told me 50 years ago that I’d be a grandparent getting all excited about teenage love letters, I would have laughed in their face. But here we are! And you know what? I think I might just leave those letters where they are and let Emma keep her secret safe. After all, it's not my business to read or meddle, right? But still, can't help but wonder how many more surprises there are hiding around the house! Maybe next time it'll be something else entirely, a collection of stickers, perhaps? Or an old journal full of stories and doodles. Now that I think about it, maybe I should make more of an effort to go through Emma's stuff when she’s out... just for fun? Anyway, back to those love letters, such a precious find! Can't wait to see what the future brings!
