The Time I Totally Accidentally Cheated On A Quiz

So yeah, today was like a normal day for me, until Ms. Thompson gave out our science quizzes in class. Now, I’m not great at remembering all the periodic table elements or whatever, but hey, we’re supposed to study right? Well, let’s just say studying isn’t exactly my forte. So here comes quiz day and I’m sitting there staring at those little bubbles with answers A through E. Suddenly, I hear a soft rustling next to me, it’s Jamie, the kid who always has perfect grades. He slides this tiny piece of paper under my desk. I think maybe he dropped his pencil or something. But then I notice it’s just a single sentence: 'Element 17 is Chlorine.' And that’s how I got an A+ on today’s quiz. Not sure if this was some kind of friendly gesture, but it felt a bit... dubious? I mean, did we technically cheat? Probably not since he didn’t actually tell me the answers, just gave me one hint? But still... now every time I see him in class, I feel all awkward and guilty as hell.
