white lie at work

so yesterday this chick walks into the bar all dressed up and looking super fancy, right? i swear she looked like a model or something. anywho, i ask her what shes drinking and she says she wants to try one of these really exotic cocktails that we dont actually have, you know? so here comes the moment when im tempted to just fib and pretend were stocked up with it just to make the night more fun for her. i mean, come on, no harm in that, right? i could totally whip up something fancy with whatever ingredients we do have but honestly, she wouldnt even notice, lol. anyways, so instead of making a scene about not having it, which might be boring and ruin her night, i just say yeah sure thing, lets make this happen! ive already mixed half the drink before she notices there was never any chance to begin with, hahaha. its one of those moments when you have that little thrill of getting away with something, but im still wondering if shes going to be cool or come back later demanding refunds...
