My Art Supplies Are All Charcoal And Dust

So, I recently spent all my art supply money on a fancy set of charcoal pencils and a wooden mahlstick for support. The thing is, whenever I use them, they create such an enormous amount of dust that it's like having a tiny sandstorm right next to me. My desk now looks like the aftermath of a battlefield from a gritty war movie. And the worst part? Every time I try to draw something delicate, I end up sneezing and smearing my work with fingerprints. Talk about the irony of trying to make art but turning myself into an accidental janitor.
