I'm Proud of My Little Brother's Scars from Fighting Back

Hey there, fellow confesstors. So I’ve got this thing where I’m proud of my little brother for standing up to bullies and getting a couple of battle scars in the process. He was the kid in school who wouldn’t back down no matter what. Sometimes I worry about him, but secretly it makes me feel good that he’s not some spineless pushover like half the kids his age. Now they all know better than to mess with my brother, and that feels pretty righteous to me. But here’s the twist: sometimes, I can’t help feeling a bit guilty too. What if one day he gets into real trouble? Or what if he decides to escalate things instead of backing down this time? Am I just encouraging his fighting spirit by being proud? Should I step in more or just let him figure it out on his own? Any advice would be great, because I care about my brother and want him to stay safe while still having the courage to defend himself.
