My Home Office Became A Jungle - What Do I Do Now?

So here's the thing. I started my freelance writing gig about a year ago and set up a dedicated workspace in the spare room at home. At first, everything was super organized and focused, plants to keep me calm, an ergonomic chair to avoid back pain. It seemed like the perfect setup until one day, I noticed that the ficus next to my desk had started growing into a mini jungle. I thought, 'Okay, plants need space, but they're still cute.' Fast forward three months later, and every single plant in there has outgrown its pot and is now sprawling over shelves, desks, and even invading the hallway. My laptop is half-buried under layers of soil and leaves, and I'm typing through a rainforest canopy. It's funny, really, because if you were walking by my house from the street, it would look like any other home office until you step inside and get pelted with droplets. My neighbor warned me about this weeks ago when she saw me buying another plant at the store, 'You're setting yourself up for disaster,' she said. But I laughed it off thinking it was just a joke. Now I'm in over my head, literally. The plants have become like an extra employee who won't clock out and has taken ownership of every surface. So here's my question: Am I being unreasonable by feeling overwhelmed? Or is this just par for the course with freelance work from home setups turning into a chaotic plant nursery?
