I Broke My Dorm's Unspoken Rule

So, here’s this thing I did that was pretty small potatoes but made me feel like a sneaky spy. We have this dorm rule where you're supposed to clean your own room at least once every three days or you get a warning note on your door from the RA (Resident Advisor). Thing is, everyone knows about it and most of us follow it pretty well because we don’t want any drama with our RA or the other residents. But then there’s my friend Alex. She's really into video games and sometimes gets so engrossed that she forgets about cleaning her room completely. I noticed this last week when I saw a big pile of trash in her dorm hallway near her door because she hadn’t cleaned for almost five days! So, here’s the confession part: I secretly cleaned up Alex's mess for her one night while she was busy playing video games. It felt really naughty at the time, like I’d pulled off some kind of college heist. Now it just makes me laugh a bit because it turns out that cleaning can feel quite adventurous when you break dorm rules to do it for your friend. Alex didn't even know I did this until she asked me one day and I couldn’t help but crack a smile while admitting my little covert operation.
