Late-Night Waffles...?

So I'm this night-shift worker at the local bakery, and last night was a crazy one. We had like three huge wedding cake orders that were due early morning... but around 3 AM when everything calms down, guess what? My stomach starts growling for some waffles! But I can't just whip up a batch with all the work piling up, right? So, I sneak into the kitchen and start making these killer blueberry waffles. It was so much fun mixing everything and listening to my secret snack time tunes... but then there's this weird noise coming from outside. Suddenly, the alarm goes off! Turns out some neighborhood kid thought it would be funny to throw a rock through our window while I was distracted by the waffle batter... talk about a night to remember! And now I've got an extra craving for anything sweet before my shift ends...
