i accidentally let my friend borrow my laptop during a major project deadline

like i know it was stupid but i really felt bad saying no and now the project is due tomorrow and i have nothing. my friend keeps promising to give it back but theyre always super busy with work or studying and its driving me crazy. i feel like such an idiot for letting this happen, shouldve just been upfront about needing it back asap but now im panicking
